We headed to Utah in July to see the family! Even though we had seen many of the Turnbow clan in June and July it was great to be together with everyone (except Kurt - we missed you!)
The Turnbow campout consisted of the usual fun activities like olympic relays, ride and tie, lots of good food and entertainment, and a whole lot of flying water and dunking heads. New this year was the bounce house, and Grandpa's zipline.
Spencer teased Grandpa and this is where he ended up - face first in the river.
Like I said, lots of water, and no mercy!
We also got to spend time with Grandma Kay and Grandpa Tingey on the trip. We had a couple packed days and a ton of fun. We tried out the new Curiosity Museum in Lehi, hiked Ensign Peak, stopped by downtown Salt Lake, hit up the nickle cade, library, park and topped it off with ice cream, of course!
We also went to the Bean Museum at BYU,
took all the Turnbow cousins to KFC's free rootbeer float day
spent a day with Madison and Reece (YAY!!!)
brushed up on our musical talents (the funny thing about this picture is that no one except Ben is playing their own instrument!)
and got to be part of Tyler's baby blessing. Being away from both families, it is things like this that I miss the most! So happy to be a part of it.
