So nobody in our family is in school, but we couldn't pass up the chance to play during everyone else's Spring Break! Friday Brooks, Spencer and I drove up to Minneapolis. Spencer is did a great job during the long car ride, probably because Brooks let him "drive the car" at our pit stop in Iowa! He loves being behind the wheel! Ben and Melissa were so nice to host us. Saturday we spent the day touring, window shopping, and tasting Wisconsin cheese.
Sunday was Madison's blessing. She looked beautiful in her dress and the blessing was beautiful. Brooks drove back to Omaha Sunday evening, we were sad to see him go, but it was back to work for him.
Spencer and I spent the rest of the week hanging out with the Smalleys and Tingeys. We really lucked out and had practically perfect weather the whole week. Spencer loved his cousin. He still hasn't figured out how to be soft, but they were so cute together.

Ben and Melissa did a great job of keeping Spencer entertained and baby proofing their house for us.
We went to the Minnesota zoo. It was a beautiful day and fun to see another zoo after being to ours so many times! Melissa had a monkey Spencer played with all week. He looks like one of those monkeys at the zoo.
One of the best parts about the week was Angie's St. Patrick's Day party. It was a blast. Probably because we played one of my most favorite games - Hillarium. Oh yeah, and also because I won the contest to guess how much gold was at the end of the rainbow! It was just a really fun night. On Thursday all the Tingey's piled in a minivan and trekked south to Omaha. It was a lot better trip than I expected with two babies. It was good to be home again. We showed the family around Omaha, Brooks' work, and church sites. Other than that we watched A LOT of basketball and just had a good time hanging out.

Overall it was a fabulous trip and exactly what I needed. Hopefully we will see Spring weather break through sooner rather than later.
