Happy Holidays!

Here's an update of our Christmas vacation!
First of all we celebrated the three major holidays that happen during those two weeks: Christmas, New Years and Melissa's Birthday!Spencer was a huge fan of New Year's Eve. I thought I was smart to get him ready for bed before midnight so I could just put him down, but the confetti stuck to him like crazy!
Other than that we just did a lot of:
Hanging out with cousins . . .They are singing "If you're happy and you know it"!
Spending some good quality time with Grandpa . . .
Creating new traditions . . . They shoved 12 grapes in their mouths at midnight on New Years Eve, it's good luck for each month of the year! Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Basketball Keeping up with old traditions . . .
Roommate gingerbread party
This is a replica of our new house. The only thing that really makes it look like our house is the lollipop tree!
Carousel ride at the mall on Christmas Eve
Indoor fun . . .
Grandma Riska's Train
BYU Basketball Game
Outdoor fun . . .
Ice Hockey
I love this series of pictures as he realizes how much fun it is!
There was a whole lot of: Sleeping . . .
Sickness . . .
and Craziness that was happening . . .This is why they call it Fun Dip!
and way too many Family Pictures for Spencer's liking . . . I know, I already used this picture, but it just proves my point!
There we a couple things we didn't get pictures of:
Games, games, games: Scrabble, Liar, Name game, and my favorite: Hillarium
Rubix cube competition. My best time 3 min 58 sec. Record time to beat 3 min 15 sec.
Train ride at the mall with Grandpa Tingey
Russell's baby blessing
Grandma Turnbow's funeral. Grandma passed away on December 8. It was a blessing for her to go be with her wonderful husband and family for Christmas, but we will miss her so much. I absolutely loved her funeral, it was a very motivating meeting. She was an amazing woman, and when you hear all the stories from her life you can't help but want to be a better person.
Visiting friends: we didn't get to see very many because we got sick and we were so busy, but we enjoyed spending time with those we did get to see.
Making Christmas candy with Aunt Carol
BYU Bowl Game
Roasting marshmallows
Snowmobiling & Sleigh Rides
Overall, we had a great time.
This picture of Spencer sums up how we feel every time we leave. . .
PLEEEEAAASE . . . just a little bit more!!!
It was great to spend time with our families. We wish we could do it more often.
