Happy Easter

We enjoyed an Easter weekend with Easter fun, Conference traditions, BYU Traditions Ball and birthday celebrations! (Warning! Picture quality from this weekend was not very good - sorry!)

It was great to be on BYU campus again, and we had so much fun dancing the night away! Felt like we were newlyweds in college again! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for watching the kids!

We celebrated birthdays for these awesome peeps while they were in town! So glad we are close enough to celebrate with you! Can't wait for the next one, we'll make sure it's a BIG celebration!!

That was the beginning of our April.
Since then we've had a lot of fun exploring our new surroundings. We have found some awesome parks close to our house!

Rebecca was home for a week, so we snagged her for a day to play!

This big guy is heading to kindergarten next year! Can't believe he's old enough to be in school, even though he's definitely tall enough! :)

Brooks was out of town for a week in April. Lilly always wakes up sad when Dad is not home, and several times a day cries for dad. So I had took some pictures of him and videos of him talking to her so she could watch them anytime she needed a Daddy fix!

Snow on April 15th! I thought we left this arctic weather???
Well, we fully enjoyed our one day of snow! It was the perfect packing snow and a beautiful day (once it stopped snowing) to be outside and have fun!

Benson is missing the preschool classes he had in Minnesota, but we found him a karate class for now! He is loving it, and I love watching that teeny little girl in front of him do karate!

We took a trip downtown last week. We checked out the Gateway Children's Museum (compliments of our MN Science Museum Pass) Rode Trax (which was the highlight for all the kids), and walked around Temple Square.

I just wanted ONE picture in front of the pretty flowers!! Just One!!!
Good times!!

A true spring in March!

We enjoyed a true Spring-like March this year now that we are in Utah. Here's how we spent our first few weeks in Utah:

Free Rita's Ice with cousins!

Grandma and Grandpa Tingey came to visit and a cousins wedding!

Lilly was in heaven! She would grab anyone who would dance with her and take them to the floor! She danced and danced and danced!

The next week was another cousins wedding (other family!)

Mackenzie came to visit me!! Ok, not me, but she was here from Minnesota so we had to meet up and catch up (from the two weeks we've been apart!) :)

Putting our Minnesota Science Museum pass to good use. It gets us in to everything at Thanksgiving Point, so we have been enjoying all that entails!

This was our second Spring Break for the year, but much better than the last one when we were packing!

Packing it up!

The good thing about moving is going through everything and cleaning out! While cleaning out my closet I pulled out my wedding dress! I tried it on and Lilly said "Mom, you a princess!" Then she wanted to be a princess!

Our last trip to the Como Zoo!

and using up all our passes or coupons that are only good in Minnesota!

For the past few months we've had this on the back door. It's our "Favorite things about Minnesota" poster! We couldn't list all the names of people who have influenced our lives, but they on there as the all inclusive "Good Friends"
Some friends made me a Minnesota plate and had everyone sign it!

So long Minnesota! We will never forget the fun we had, the dear friends we made, and how we were changed for good!

And so, we loaded the truck up, signed the papers . . .

Took one last ride on the zip line (it will be greatly missed)

And took off!

On a very long trek!! Thank goodness for Grandma and Grandpa Turnbow for flying out to drive back with us!! They drove one car and we drove the other and the kids rotated between the two cars!! It was such a blessing to have them. I thought for a long time we could do it with just us, but I realized what a nightmare that would have been after a few hours when Lilly was done!

 Pit stop somewhere in Iowa!

Back to where it all started - right? Drove through our old stomping grounds in Nebraska and took mom and dad to see the Winter Quarters temple.

We got this Bopit for the car ride and Spencer loved it. He worked hard to get his high score and we all tried to beat him, and still haven't!

Cindy's family was waiting to welcome us back!

Here is the crew that helped us 'clean' before all our stuff got to the house! They had a fun time exploring those shelves. I told them to enjoy it because once stuff got put up there would be no more climbing!

And the truck it finally empty!
 Now to unpacking the boxes!
