The Saturday after Thanksgiving we took the kids and ventured up to New York City. We were supposed to spend the day with my cousins, but their kids got sick so we set out to tour the city on our own. We were crazy to do it, but the day actually turned out great! We only got lost a few times. We saw all the sights of New York, but I think the highlight of the day was the Charmin Store. It was a cozy place to hang out on a cold day, Spencer loved doing the Potty Dance, and it was nice to use a clean toilet in the middle of NYC! Benson was wrapped up most of the day, but you decide how much fun he really had by his facial expression below!
After Thanksgiving weekend we had plenty to keep up in the holiday spirit: decorating the Christmas Tree, the ward party, Messiah concert, candy making, and our annual gingerbread party.
And among all the craziness Benson just gets bigger and keeps growing up. We started him on solids in December. From the look on his face you'd think he would love the new stuff, but we are still trying to get the hang of it all. He is 4 - 4 1/2 months old in these pictures.
