Summer Fun

Well this summer has been like no other summer. It kind of feels like we've been on vacation all summer. That's what summer is for right? Exploring a new area, a whole lot of swimming, and celebrations.

Father's Day

Teddy Bear Park in Stillwater

Living in temporary housing has been an adventure of it's own. We have no high chair so Lilly gets to eat on the floor. We started like this - wrapped up like a taco so she wouldn't get food all over her car seat.
But we soon moved to the floor once she started sitting up. We are lucky she hasn't started crawling yet, that could cause a mess. She has started rocking back and forth trying to move, but so far no major food spills.

Right now we live by Markgrafs Lake. It has a great trail around it with a couple playgrounds the kids love.

Cottage Grove Strawberry Festival and Parade!

4th of July Celebrations: breakfast at the bishops, frisbee golf as a family, fireworks at the park with friends

Trip to the zoo with friends -

and waiting in the heat to jump start the car.
Here's the culprit who loves to play with buttons in the car!

Swimming at our complex

Swimming at Lake Elmo (beached lake)

and swimming with friends!

Luckily some of the best parts of our summer have yet to happen: closing on our home, Benson's birthday, family reunion, family visiting Minnesota, and my birthday! We are so excited for these we can hardly stand it!

Wow, you sure kept busy this summer. I love that little photo animation with the kids jumping in the pool. Can't stop watching it.
