Bits and Pieces

The last few months have flown by. It seems like Christmas was just yesterday. Here's what we've been up to for the last few months.
ARIZONA BASKETBALL
Brooks and I went to the Arizona vs. Utah basketball game with some of his classmates. The topic of discussion for most of the game: internship interviews, which has been a big part of our lives the last few months.
It has been quite the roller coaster!
WINTER COLDS
Not the temperature outside, but the sickness. This little guy is on his third round of antibiotics for double ear infections since Jan 1st, not to mention the bout of pneumonia he had last month and getting two new molars. The rest of us have passed around the cold and coughs, but all seem to be doing better!
HORSE RACING
The Rilitio Race Track is literally our back yard. Every weekend (Jan-March) they have horse races. We've been over to watch a race or two, but there is a lot of down time in between each race to stay for the whole thing. It's more fun to see the horses during the week. When the boys and I go for walks in the morning we walk next to the track on our way back. We've stopped and watch the riders practice many times. We met several of the horses and Spencer took the liberty of naming the others! His favorite was Brownie. He is a reddish/brown horse with a male rider - there are a lot of horses that fit this description so we saw Brownie a lot! :)
